The OOI Facility Board (OOIFB) and Data Systems Committee (DSC) will hold their 2024 Fall Meetings on November 13 and 14, 2024. A site visit day with other activities is planned for Friday, November 15, 2024. The meetings will be held in person, but virtual participation will also be available.
The meetings will be held at the University of Washington’s Ocean Teaching Building (RM 155) in Seattle, Washington. The schedule of the meetings is as follows:
- Wednesday, November 13th – Data Systems Committee (DSC) meeting
- Thursday, November 14th – OOIFB and DSC joint session
- Friday, November 15th – site visits and field activities (all are encouraged to stay for this day)
For logistical purposes, we need to know who plans to attend the meeting and if your attendance will be in-person or virtual. Virtual participants will receive a Zoom link prior to the meeting. For those attending in-person, we need to know of any dietary constraints for catering requirements. Please RSVP for the meeting here. RSVPs are requested on or before October 30, 2024.

Lodging Details: A hotel room block has been set up at the Silver Cloud Hotel (University District, 5036 25th Avenue NE, Seattle, WA 98105, 206-526-5200). The hotel room rate is $188/night (not including taxes, etc.); this is the Federal lodging per-diem rate.

The deadline for hotel reservations (as part of the block) is Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
Transportation: Please note that arrangements have been made to utilize vans to transport meeting participants from the hotel to/from the Ocean Teaching Building. Parking is a challenge at the University of Washington- if you cannot grab a van ride from the Silver Cloud Hotel each day, it is suggested that you otherwise take an Uber of Lyft, if possible.
