The Observatories Initiative Facility Board (OOIFB) is funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) and is tasked with representing the science community and users of the Ocean Observatories Initiative (OOI) Facility. The OOIFB works to expand scientific and public awareness of NSF OOI, and ensure that the oceanographic community is kept informed of developments of NSF OOI.
