The OOIFB would like to welcome new Data Systems Committee (DSC) member, Robert Fatland. Rob is the Director of Cloud and Data Solutions at the University of Washington. His interest in expertise in data science as well as translating research details for public utility will only enhance DSC discussions and efforts to evaluate and recommend improvements to the data services policies and practices of the NSF OOI Facility that will lead to more efficient and effective scientific use of NSF OOI data.
