Action: DSC-2022-1 (complete) – The DSC will provide an annual report to the OOIFB. The report will provide a summary of DSC meetings, activities, and recommendations.
Action Taken:
- A Google Doc was created. Activities and meetings from 2021 were listed. The committee discussed recommendations and future activities during their December 2021 and January 2022 web conferences.
- February 7, 2022 – The DSC Annual Report was submitted to the OOIFB who endorsed the report and forwarded it to NSF.
Action: DSC-2022-2 (complete) – DSC will seek applications to fill an open position on the committee.
Action Taken:
- November 15 – December 2, 2022 – Applications are open to fill one position on the DSC. The Call for Applications is distributed via email and posted on the OOIFB website.
- December 14, 2022 – Shima Abadi, University of Washington, was appointed as a new member of the DSC. Her appointment is effective starting in January 2023.
